Some Sarah Palin/Alaska stuff

All of them are absolutely disgusting. Perhaps Palin needs to get her wish - that Alaska be removed from the US once and for all. I won't miss it.

A great comment on how Palin (and Alaskans as a whole) repeat the mantra of smaller government, yet love big government handouts more than anyone else. I will also add that Palin's social conservative extremism (strongly supported by Alaskans) is another example of big government, meddling with people's personal lives.

The media is giving glowing remarks to Palin's speech last night, but only because the bar had been set so low to start with (and it was a carefully scripted speech). As the first article says, Palin is certainly not qualified for the job, but should never be underestimated.
